Developer and operator: Yusuf Kocak (Kynora Studio). Application: Noctra. Contact: kynora.studio@gmail.com.

Noctra for Android is a media player and playlist organizer. It does not provide, host, sell, rent, broadcast, or include media content, TV channels, movies, series, playlists, EPG data, streaming links, or IPTV subscriptions.

The public Noctra website, including this policy page, uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Depending on your location and consent choices, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP address, browser or device information, and ad interaction data to serve, measure, and protect advertising. Use the Google consent message to allow, refuse, or manage personalized ads, and review Google's partner-site data practices or ad settings whenever you choose.

Yusuf Kocak, operating under the Kynora Studio name, is responsible for information directly received from Noctra, such as support messages and the limited purchase-verification data described below. Third-party providers, advertising services, Google Play, Huawei IAP where applicable, and metadata services process information under their own privacy policies and terms.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

The app stores profile names, avatars, PIN data, provider and source credentials (usernames, passwords, server addresses, MAC addresses), preferences, favorites, hidden categories, watch history, playback progress, download items, program guide settings, and Premium or promotion-code state in a local database and settings files on your device.

2. Local Storage and Credential Protection

Noctra has no account system: your profiles, watch history, downloads, and playlists are never uploaded or synced by us. Sensitive values such as provider passwords, PIN data, and promotion grants are encrypted on device using Android Keystore-backed AES-GCM where supported.

3. Advertising in the Free Version

The free version shows banner and interstitial ads; Premium removes them.

  • On devices with Google Play services, ads come from Google AdMob via the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Per Google's disclosure, that SDK may collect and share device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, product interaction data, and diagnostics with Google and advertising partners for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
  • When Huawei Petal Ads (HMS Ads Kit) is the active advertising provider, it is provided by Huawei Software Technologies Co., Ltd. Huawei says its SDK may process OAID/ODID; device and app details and usage; network, carrier, IP and WLAN data; ad interactions; and, when enabled or available, sensor data such as accelerometer, gyroscope, rotation vector, magnetometer, and barometer. These data support ad delivery, attribution/measurement, fraud prevention, and SDK operation. HMS Core may start for ad requests and interactions. Huawei describes its processing and regional storage in the Petal Ads Privacy Statement; its SDK disclosure guide lists data categories and purposes. Data may be transferred internationally.

Ads are personalized only where a valid consent choice exists. If you decline personalized advertising, non-personalized or limited ads may still be shown in the Free version where supported.

On first launch, Noctra explicitly prompts you to open and read this Privacy Policy before the privacy acknowledgement can be accepted. Noctra's own legal/privacy step completes before the advertising SDK used by the installed build is initialized or advertising consent is requested. Depending on the distribution channel and device services, the active provider may be Google AdMob or Huawei Petal Ads. This acknowledgement is separate from consent for personalized advertising. Where required, for example in the EEA/UK, Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) or the Huawei consent dialog records your ad-personalization choice. Where an in-app privacy-options entry is available, you can revisit that choice there; Android advertising identifiers can also be reset or deleted through supported system settings.

5. Provider Connections

The app connects only to services you configure: provider portals, playlist and stream URLs, EPG sources, and logos. Those services receive your IP address, request headers, and the credentials you configured for them. Many IPTV sources use unencrypted http:// connections; the app permits cleartext traffic for this reason, so data to and from such sources may travel without encryption.

6. Metadata (TMDB)

To show posters, backdrops, and details, the app sends searched titles and your language preference to The Movie Database (TMDB) with adult content excluded. TMDB receives your IP address and the queried titles; these requests are not linked to your profiles.

7. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Backend Verification

Payments are processed by Google Play; Kynora Studio never receives your card data. To verify Premium entitlement, the app sends your purchase token, product ID, and package name to the Kynora Studio verification backend, which validates them with Google and returns the result. The backend is stateless: it stores no installation identity and no profile data. Your IP address is visible to it as with any internet service. Promotion codes are validated through the backend and stored only on your device in encrypted form.

Huawei AppGallery Purchases and Subscriptions

If Noctra was installed through Huawei AppGallery, Huawei IAP processes checkout, payment details, taxes, refunds, and subscription billing under Huawei's policies. Noctra and Kynora Studio do not receive payment-card details. To verify Premium, the app sends Huawei-signed purchase data and its signature, product ID, and package name over HTTPS to Kynora Studio's verification backend, hosted in Google Cloud Run in the United States. The backend verifies the signed receipt and returns the entitlement result; it stores no installation identity or profile data, but can see the request IP address.

8. Retention and Deletion

Your data stays on your device until you remove it: clear the app's data, uninstall the app, or delete its storage folder. Uninstalling removes app-private data; files in download folders you selected may remain and may need to be deleted separately. Support emails are retained only as needed for support, security, abuse prevention, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us, subject to any retention we are legally required to keep.

9. Your Choices and Rights

  • Delete local profiles, history, downloads, sources, or app data using the app or Android system controls.
  • Review ad privacy choices from Noctra's privacy options where that control is required and available.
  • Manage or cancel a Google Play subscription through Google Play. Uninstalling Noctra does not cancel a subscription.
  • Manage or cancel an AppGallery subscription through Huawei's subscription tools. Uninstalling Noctra does not cancel a subscription.
  • Ask us to delete or correct information Kynora Studio directly holds, such as support correspondence, subject to legal or security retention requirements.

Because most Noctra data stays on your device, Kynora Studio cannot retrieve or delete local-only data on your behalf. Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may also give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise a right that applies to you.

10. Data Sharing

Kynora Studio does not sell or rent personal information. Data is shared only as you direct through provider and metadata requests, by the advertising SDKs described above under your consent choices, and, for AppGallery purchases, signed Huawei IAP receipt data with Kynora Studio's verification backend, in voluntary support reports, when legally required, or to protect users, rights, and security.

11. Security

Reasonable measures protect local data, but no storage or transmission is completely secure. Many provider sources are unencrypted by nature; protect your device, credentials, lists, and sources.

12. Changes

This policy may change with app behavior, store requirements, or legal obligations. The revision date at the top identifies the latest version. If applicable law requires a new notice or consent for a material change, we will request it where required.
